MPC Wallet Recovery

When you create your first MPC wallet, you'll be provided the option to backup it up.

This backup can be used to recover your wallet if:

  • you get a new device.

  • your device is lost or stolen.

  • you delete or remove the Wonder Wallet app.

Recovery

Recovery can be accessed in two places:

  • At the bottom of the Getting Started page when you first open the app
  • In the Settings section

To recover your wallet:

  • Click on either recovery option
  • Enter the email you previously used to back up your wallet
  • Click Submit
  • You'll receive an email to your inbox within a few minutes with a 6 digit code (The code will expire after 20 minutes)
  • Enter your code
  • You'll recieve a Wallet Recovery Success message and be redirected to the home screen with your wallet(s) avaliable in your app

FAQs

Q: Can I use the recovery feature to have my wallet on more than one device at a time?

A: Yes, though not recommended, you can use the recovery feature to add wallet access to more than one device at a time.

Q: I made a new wallet before recovering my old wallets, will this wallet be deleted if I use the recovery feature?

A: Yes, any existing wallets will be removed from your app if you use the recovery feature.
